Fort Worth, TX – The Ladies National Golf Association will host its 3rd LNGA Mid-Am & Senior Am October 17-19 at the Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, TX. Each championship will have up to 60 players for a total field size of 120. Three rounds will be played in a 54-hole stroke play format:
Tuesday, Oct. 17: Round 1
Wednesday, Oct. 18: Round 2
Thursday, Oct. 19: Final Round
The championships will take place concurrently, and on the 19th, the LNGA will recognize the Mid-Am & Senior Am winners by distributing the Wilma Cups.
“There has been a gap between college graduates and minimum age requirements for most mid-amateur competitions,” said LNGA President Nancy Sebastian. “Lowering our age limit to 23 provides the opportunity for post-collegiate athletes to compete in our Ladies National Golf Association Mid-Amateur Women’s Championship, which is a WAGR event.”
