Mary Bea Porter-King
Mary Bea Porter-King (Tournament Chair) is a respected name in golf, she turned pro in 1973 after a standout four-sport collegiate career at Arizona State, and went on to win on the LPGA Tour in 1975 with her title at the Golf Inns of America Classic. Beyond her playing days, she made a lasting impact as a leader, co-founding the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association and serving in key roles with the USGA, PGA, and national championship committees. Known as one of the country’s most trusted rules experts, she officiated at dozens of U.S. Opens, U.S. Women’s Opens, U.S. Amateurs, Masters and PGA Championships. Her passion for junior golf, advocacy for women in the game, and dedication to integrity have earned her honors like the PGA’s First Lady of Golf Award (2011) and induction into multiple golf halls of fame. Mary Bea resides in Koloa, Hawaii with her husband Charlie. Mary Bea has been involved with the LNGA for over 20 years.
