Cathy Mant

Cathy Mant (President) won the 1970 individual Division of Girls and Women’s Sports Championship (now the NCAA Women’s Golf title) while at Arizona State and went on to compete on the LPGA Tour from 1976 to 1986, including 10 U.S. Women’s Opens. She later became an LPGA Class A instructor and led the Georgia State women’s golf program from 2000 to 2019, guiding the team to five conference titles, six NCAA Regional berths, and earning multiple Coach-of-the-Year honors. In 2024–25, she was inducted into the Georgia State University Athletics Hall of Fame for her impact on Panther golf, she is apart of five different Hall of Fames. Today, Cathy teaches at Eagle’s Landing Country Club, officiates at events as a USGA certified rules official, and lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband Rick. Cathy has been involved with the LNGA for 4 years.
