Countdown to the 95th LNGA Amateur Championship at The Home Course

Elite golf returns to Washington as LNGA prepares for national championship in DuPont

St. Louis, MO – The Ladies National Golf Association (LNGA) is gearing up for an important stop on the amateur golf calendar: the 95th LNGA Amateur Championship, set for July 22–24, 2025, at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington.

As one of five elite tournaments in the Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series (WEAGS), the LNGA Amateur Championship draws a global field of top-tier amateur women golfers. The event also serves as the final opportunity for players to earn critical points toward exemptions into the 125th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship. This year’s LNGA Amateur Championship field will include nearly 100 players from seven countries and 15 competitors from Washington state.

Nancy Sebastian, President of the Ladies National Golf Association, shared the organization’s excitement about bringing its prestigious championship to the Pacific Northwest.

“We are thrilled to conduct this year’s championship at The Home Course,” said Sebastian. “It will offer a true test for an exceptional field of elite amateur women golfers. With its rich tradition and steadfast dedication to the integrity of the game, this event promises to leave a meaningful and lasting impact on the local community. We’re proud to showcase the talent of these remarkable athletes in the beautiful setting of Washington State.”

The championship impact extends beyond just the leaderboard. As a traveling championship, the LNGA Amateur brings with it economic benefits for host communities, from hotel stays and dining to regional exposure. The LNGA’s nonprofit model also means the focus stays squarely on player opportunity and community partnership rather than profit. For anyone interested in supporting the event and the mission of LNGA, there are still sponsorships available.

With roots dating back to 1927, the LNGA continues to provide competitive platforms that celebrate tradition while building the future of women’s golf. The 95th Amateur Championship will further that legacy—welcoming players, fans, and volunteers to an unforgettable week in DuPont.

Spectators are welcome and admission is free. Additional championship details are available at www.ladiesnationalgolf.org and on LNGA social media accounts. For specific inquiries or to become a sponsor, please contact the organization directly at ladiesnationalgolf@gmail.com .
