Fort Worth, TX – The Ladies National Golf Association opened registration for the 3rd LNGA
Mid-Amateur & Senior Amateur Championship on July 1. The competition will take place
October 17-19 at the Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, TX. The deadline to register
for the event is 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Sept. 27.
Each championship will have up to 60 players for a total field size of 120. Three rounds will be
played in a 54-hole stroke play format:
Tuesday, Oct. 17: Round 1
Wednesday, Oct. 18: Round 2
Thursday, Oct. 19: Final Round
Entries for the Mid-Amateur Championship are open to female amateur golfers who have
reached 23 years of age, have exhausted their collegiate eligibility, and whose handicap index
does not exceed 10.4 under the World Handicap System. Entries for the Senior Amateur
Championship are open to female amateur golfers who have reached 50 years of age and
whose handicap index does not exceed 14.4.
In round two of the championship, the field may be cut. The final determination on whether a cut
will be made for each championship will be made after the close of entries. This will be
communicated to the field(s) at that time.
The Wilma Cups will be presented to the Mid-Amateur and Senior-Amateur Champions. The
champions and runners-up will both receive medals.
